Making Memories

After about 20-years in the woods, it was time to retire our Belgian Draft Horse, Mark, from working as a skidding horse in the woods. Mark has skidded countless logs out of the forest and has filled many semi-trucks full of quality timber so we knew it wasn't a great idea to completely avoid any physical work with Mark! Like any athlete, eating healthy, staying active, and taking care of oneself as one ages is vital. Providing carriage rides for the community seemed like the perfect activity for both Mark and for our small town of Hayward, Wisconsin! 


Below you will find a brief rundown of each of the services we provide along with starting prices.

Carriage Rides

A charming town requires a charming carriage ride and Skinner Carriages  has you covered. 


Running year round but primarily from late-April through October (weather permitting), Skinner Carriages is a common sight around town and a unique, local attraction not to be missed!


Rides are typically 10-20 minutes long and can be longer or shorter based on how much time you have! 


Rides start at $30
